MEET THE TRUSTEES

As a registered charity, a board of volunteer trustees help to support the trust manager. Here is a brief introduction to each of our trustees.

Nikki Johnson - Vice Chair

Nikki joined the board of BVDT 5 years ago and became Vice Chair a year ago. Having worked as a senior manager in financial services for over 20 years, Nikki brings her skills with people and project management to the trust.  Nikki is now managing director of Noodle Performance Arts, so also has a wealth of experience in business management and development. Nikki formerly based her business offices in the Lifestyle Centre and benefited from the facilities provided by the trust as she built her growing business. She joined the trust to help give something back to the community in which many of her students live.

Ellen Higginbottom

My name is Ellen, I'm 25 and work as a Telecommunications engineer. Although I moved out of the village a few years ago I lived in Beighton for 22 years and my mum still lives in the village and I am still an active member of two community groups. I have been involved with community groups in Beighton from being around 12 years old when I was a member of a group called junior BCP (Beighton community partnership) who's aim was to give the young people of Beighton a voice . I have been a board member of BVDT for around 7 years and I am also one of the Beighton Gala committee members so I am involved in the planning and running of one of South yorkshire biggest free events here in our own village.
