Beighton Bizzy Bee Family Childcare Centre, known affectionately to many simply as Bizzy Bees is run as a charity with the sole aim to provide affordable childcare to the village. Beighton Village Trust is the building's landlord, charging Bizzy Bees a nominal rent in order to ensure that the cost of childcare is accessible to as many local families as possible.

The building was almost completely destroyed by an arson attack in November 2015, closing the nursery for a full ten months. During this time, Beighton Village Trust forged excellent working relationships with the Trustee and Management team of Bizzy Bees, led on many aspects of the physical rebuild and collectively restored this essential village asset. These relationships continued after reopening with members of the Bizzy Bees Trustee team sitting on our Board and vice versa.
